Jeff Tryka, CFA, is a Lambert veteran that rejoined the firm in December 2017 to focus on building its small- and mid-cap industrials capabilities while strengthening the capital markets group. Jeff has nearly 20 years of investor relations experience, including his previous tenure with Lambert from 2008-2013, plus another decade of experience on Wall Street, including experience as a sell-side analyst covering small-cap manufacturing, recreational vehicles, and large-cap retail.
Jeff has significant experience managing perception studies, quarterly earnings, investor outreach, mergers and acquisitions, proxy contests, unsolicited takeover defense, analyst days, activist investors and shareholder actions. This expertise has equipped him with unique perspectives and insights to benefit clients from small-cap public companies to Fortune 500 organizations.
Before rejoining Lambert, Jeff spent four years as the director of corporate development and investor relations for THOR Industries, Inc. (NYSE: THO), the world’s largest RV company. While at THOR, Jeff was instrumental in developing the complete investor relations program, including quarterly earnings, non-deal roadshows, investor days, special investor events surrounding the industry’s largest trade events, annual reports, annual shareholder meetings, and investor communications surrounding mergers and acquisitions – including the purchase of Jayco, the largest acquisition in Thor’s history at that time. During his tenure, THOR tripled in market capitalization and saw a 50% increase in analyst coverage. In 2017, Jeff was honored as the Best IR Professional in Consumer Leisure by Institutional Investor magazine.
Jeff holds an MBA in finance from Indiana University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Bucknell University. He has held the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation since 2003 and previously served as President of CFA Society West Michigan, and is currently co-chair of the Communications Advisory Group for CFA Society Chicago. His passions include food and wine, and he also enjoys volunteering in the kitchen at Cultivate Culinary Food Rescue in South Bend.
