Lisa Baker, a Managing Director at Lambert, has provided strategic communications counsel to some of the world’s leading private equity, real estate and alternative asset firms. For nearly two decades, she has managed media relations for M&A and complex financial transactions, executive transitions, crisis situations, bankruptcies, ESG and impact investing.
She has deep experience helping clients shape their image, communicate effectively and guide the narrative in many challenging situations. Recent client engagements include developing and executing a successful profile-raising and thought leadership campaign for a real estate investment platform, and providing public relations guidance to a client making transformative changes to the firm’s investment strategy and business model.
Lisa advises the firm’s private equity clients on print and digital advertising planning for fund closing and branding campaigns, targeted email marketing and conference speaking opportunities. Her current client responsibilities include Carmel Partners, Gryphon Investors, Huron Capital, Pharos Capital Group, Rockpoint Group, The Axton Group, Tritium Partners and WindRose Health Investors.
Previously, Lisa was Vice President of Marketing at telecom startup BroadPoint Communications. Prior to that, she held senior account management positions at Grey Advertising as a VP, Group Management Supervisor; at DMB&B (now Publicis Groupe) as an SVP, Management Supervisor; and at DDB Worldwide, as an Account Supervisor. Her accounts included Clairol, Hasbro, Hershey, Campbell Soup and Norelco, and she won two Effie Awards for marketing effectiveness.
Lisa has a B.A. in English from Clark University and an M.B.A. from the University of New Hampshire.
Lisa loves hiking with her family at the nature preserves around New York, especially Mohonk Preserve.
