Lisa Baker is a Managing Director at Lambert Blicksilver where she provides strategic communications counsel to national and global private equity clients. She handles transactional communications for large, fast-paced M&A deals, growth, venture and middle market deals, complex financial and real estate transactions, crisis situations, and ESG and impact investing.
Her client engagements have included managing communications, media relations and crises for one of the world’s top private equity firms; leading a branding and public relations campaign that raised the profile of a private equity real estate platform and advanced its industry leadership position; and development of national, local and trade print advertising media plans for large private equity real estate fund closings.
Lisa leads the firm’s print and digital financial advertising, including media planning and buying strategies, and advises clients on diverse branding channels such as thought leadership positioning, email marketing and conference speaking opportunities.
Among her current clients are Carmel Partners, Colony Capital and its Colony Industrial platform, Compass Partners International, Gryphon Investors, Huron Capital, Pharos Capital Group, Rockpoint Group, Tritium Partners and WindRose Health Investors.
Prior to joining the firm, Lisa was Vice President of Marketing at an early stage telecom startup, BroadPoint Communications. Previously, she held senior account management positions on major consumer brands at New York advertising agencies. At Grey Advertising, she was Vice President, Group Management Supervisor on Hasbro; and at DMB&B (now Publicis Groupe) she was Senior Vice President, Management Supervisor, leading the teams on Norelco and other national accounts, where she won an Effie Award for marketing effectiveness. She was also awarded an Effie as an Account Supervisor at DDB Worldwide, working on brands that included Mrs. Paul’s foods, Clairol, Hershey and Colombian Coffee.
Lisa has a B.A. in English from Clark University and an M.B.A. with a focus on marketing from the University of New Hampshire.
