GRAND RAPIDS, MICH., — Lambert & Co., Michigan’s largest integrated communications firm and a top-50 public relations firm nationally, today announced the promotion of Joe DiBenedetto to managing director.

DiBenedetto joined Lambert more than a dozen years ago and, having worked with education and nonprofit organizations for over 25 years, currently leads the firm’s education and social impact (ESI) practice. In his expanded role, DiBenedetto will be responsible for accelerating the growth of the ESI practice while continuing to provide strategic counsel to clients and staff. He will also chair the firm’s operations team, helping build on Lambert’s growing national reach and influence.

“Joe’s commitment, focus and determination are well-known by his clients and colleagues alike,” said Don Hunt, president and managing partner at Lambert. “He is an outstanding mentor for our growing team, consistently fostering the growth and development of those around him. Joe is keenly focused on growing our business while delivering stellar client service and bottom-line solutions for clients across a variety of industries.”

Passionate about making a positive impact on the community, DiBenedetto developed the award-winning Movers for Moms cause marketing campaign for the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK moving company. The Movers for Moms program collects essential items for donation to domestic abuse victims on Mother’s Day and has led to more than one million donated items through its 12-year history.

DiBenedetto is also the host of Lambert’s first podcast, Purposeful Pitch, which focuses on community relations and social impact themes across the country. He also supports not-for-profit organizations such as the Armed Forces Thanksgiving, an organization he helped found, and the Humane Society of West Michigan, where he currently serves as vice president of the board of directors.

“I have been extremely fortunate to work with a talented team of professionals committed to generating results for our clients,” DiBenedetto said. “Our education and social impact clients are at the heart of the communities they serve, which makes our work tremendously rewarding.”
