As managing director and chair of the Education & Social Impact practice at Lambert, Joe DiBenedetto manages a team of professionals providing strategic counsel and daily integrated public relations activities for a variety of education, nonprofit, municipal and service-based clients.
A graduate of Hofstra University, Joe has more than 20 years of agency and consulting experience, including a wealth of activity in local, regional and national media relations, new product launches, new market entries, corporate communications, crisis communications, issues management, social media, community relations and cause marketing programs.
The professional accomplishment he is most proud of is developing the award-winning Movers for Moms program, a cause marketing campaign created for the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK moving company. The Movers for Moms program collects essential items for donation to domestic abuse victims on Mother’s Day.
Passionate about supporting organizations making a positive impact on the community, Joe currently serves as a board member with Humane Society of West Michigan and the Armed Forces Thanksgiving, an organization he helped found. He previously served on the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s West Michigan Chapter board for six years, leading the organization’s communications committee.
