PR News has named Michelle Olson, managing director/partner and head of the auto and mobility practice at Lambert & Co., a member of the Top Women In PR class of 2020. This prestigious award comes as Olson begins her term as chair of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) this year.

The Top Women in PR list is compiled each year by PR News to recognize women who make significant contributions to the industry outside of their positions. Many take on pro bono communication work, make an effort to advance women in leadership, and take on diversity initiatives.

As an industry professional with 30 years of experience in public relations and integrated marketing, Olson has established herself as a business leader and entrepreneur. She uses her talents to lead the auto and mobility practice at Lambert by establishing content marketing, social media, brand journalism, and other online initiatives into public relations strategies, reaching audiences efficiently and quickly to impact change.

In addition to spearheading non-traditional communication strategies for client projects, she has dedicated her platform to fostering diversity and inclusion within the industry.

Olson is an active member of her community, dedicating time to mentoring PRSSA members as an advisor for the program, and frequently guest lectures at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She also holds roles in her community with a number of organizations, including Urban Land Institute, Experience Scottsdale, the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce and Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce.

Olson continues to manage Lambert’s Phoenix office and provide strategic counsel and support to the automotive and mobility practice at while serving as president of PRSA.
