LANSING, MICH. – December 15, 2016 – Sterling Corporation, Michigan’s top-ranked issue management and fundraising firm, announced today the addition of Kelly Thomas as senior associate.
Thomas joins Sterling from Senate Majority Leader Arlan Meekhof’s office, where she managed the constituent relations staff. Prior to her work at the Senate, Thomas served as the communications and grassroots coordinator for the Associated Builders and Contractors of Michigan.
In her new role, Thomas will work with fundraising Director Heather Lombardini to help support the firm’s fundraising efforts for a number of clients, including the Senate Republican Campaign Committee. She will also provide strategic consulting across a wide variety of political and issue management initiatives.

Thomas holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Michigan State University. She will officially join the Sterling team on January 2, 2017.
