With nearly 30 years of experience, Donna Vandiver is managing partner of the firm’s St. Louis office. After a corporate career with Monsanto Company (now Bayer Life Sciences Company), she founded The Vandiver Group (TVG) in 1993, a WBE-certified strategic communications agency that Lambert acquired in 2021. Under her 25-plus years of leadership, TVG was named one of the “Top 3 PR Firms in Missouri” by Missouri Lawyer’s Weekly and “Best PR Firm in St. Louis” by clients and readers of St. Louis Small Business Monthly for 12 straight years.
Donna provides executive leadership and strategic counsel to clients with extensive experience assisting clients with crisis communications and corporate reputation and image management, and has handled media relations on a global basis for clients.
As a community leader in the St. Louis region, Donna has served on dozens of boards, donating nearly $4M in services to nonprofit organizations. Noteworthy organizations where she has contributed her thought leadership and expertise include Missouri Baptist Healthcare Foundation, Greater St. Louis Division of the American Heart Association, University of Missouri-St. Louis, Webster University and Fontbonne University. She served as president of Pinnacle Worldwide, one of the world’s largest networks of independent public relations firms.
The Governor of Missouri appointed Donna to serve on the state’s Women’s Council. She was selected as a protégé of the Committee of 200, an international organization of women entrepreneurs and leaders and was named a “Woman of Distinction” by the Missouri Athletic Club. She was named one of the “25 Most Influential Businesswomen in St. Louis” by the St. Louis Business Journal. She was named by the Community Service Public Relations Council as a “PR Professional of the Year,” among many more awards and accolades.
Donna has a master’s degree in management from Webster University and bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is a member of the Counselors Academy, the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and the St. Louis Forum.
