Lambert, a leading Midwest-based public relations, investor relations and public affairs firm, received honorable mentions for two PR News Platinum PR Awards last night at an awards ceremony (coincidentally emceed by West Michigan’s own Ginger Zee). Lambert earned recognition for its “Movers for Moms” campaign developed for Two Men and a Truck in the Community Relations category, and “SNAK Attack” a campaign for Inventure Foods, in the Financial/Investor Relations category.
Lambert created and introduced Movers for Moms®, a cause marketing public relations campaign for Two Men and a Truck, the largest franchised moving company in North America, which aimed to raise awareness of domestic abuse and homelessness. The program provides critical assistance to women and moms living in shelters on Mother’s Day, while building community relations and generating positive publicity for 116 of the moving company’s franchise locations across 31 states. Lambert developed community partnerships with schools and other community partners in order to collect essential items such as toiletries, soaps, diapers and food. More than 215,000 items were collected for donation to 124 women’s shelters and the campaign generated more than 7,500 media hits across the country and in every TMT market executing the campaign.
Lambert’s efforts on behalf of Inventure Foods, a marketer and manufacturer of specialty food brands, included a variety of new product launches across multiple brands, corporate communications and investor relations efforts with the financial community through two major corporate acquisitions and ongoing media relations support. Lambert’s integrated “SNAK Attack” approach to PR and IR generated millions of media impressions and resulted in significant growth across all of the company’s social media properties. Lambert also helped coordinate meetings between Inventure executives and financial community representatives throughout the course of the campaign. The program helped drive record-breaking revenue growth and a 105 percent increase in the company’s stock price.
