Jasmine Nelson is a certified diversity and inclusivity senior public relations practitioner with more than 10 years of experience in not-for-profit, for-profit and fashion industries. Her background spans both traditional and non-tradition public relations strategies for clients. Jasmine’s skills include partnership building, strategy development, media relations copywriting, virtual event production, and executing integrated tactics to achieve campaign goals. She has experience in working with CEOs, executives, politicians, celebrities and entrepreneurs to grow their personal and professional brands.
Prior to joining Lambert, she worked at 9thWonder Agency where she led PR strategies for a number of clients. Before her work with 9thWonder, Jasmine was a Senior Communication Specialist for the National Diversity Council. During her time at the National Diversity Council, she spearheaded global campaigns and helped drive the council’s brand towards becoming a national and international success. Before leaving the National Diversity Council, she managed and produced “A Conversation with Barack Obama,” an event that hosted more than 3,000 attendees and received local and national media coverage.
Jasmine holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications with an emphasis in public relations from the University of Houston- Downtown and currently resides in Houston, Texas.
