PROJECT
In late 2018, Yazaki North America engaged Lambert overhaul its social media presence. After an audit and strategy session, the team got to work refining social media messaging and content for the international company, focusing on objectives designed to drive business KPIs and industry best practices.
TACTICS
- Launch and rejuvenate social properties for Yazaki North America and Central America
- Strategically manage Yazaki social media properties in North and Central America, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Glassdoor and Kununu
- Leverage digital ad targeting to reach relevant audiences
- Produce live event coverage on social media during key events, including the North American International Auto Show
- Create event-specific content across all social channels
- Real-time video content shoot at Yazaki Booth, as well as with cars featuring Yazaki product
- Revamp product photography and graphic design
- Develop response management guidelines and best practices
- Lead the cleanup and removal of spam pages on Facebook and Kununu
RESULTS
Lambert’s work with Yazaki North America has resulted in exponential growth across all digital platforms. In seven short months, Yazaki has garnered:
- 4 million impressions (an increase of 150%)
- 9k engagements (an increase of 91.3%)
- 5k link clicks
- 1% increase in overall audience size
- Nearly 250 pieces of custom content created
- Meanwhile, paid social media campaign costs have consistently come in below industry averages
